Monday, November 16th 9-10:30 AM at the Center for American Progress main office (1333 H St NW, 10th Floor)
The Center for American Progress (CAP) will host a panel discussion on integrating the elements of US national power, featuring a keynote address from Director of the Policy Planning Staff at the State Department, Anne-Marie Slaughter. Featured panelists include Major General Paul D. Eaton, US Army (retired) and Senior Advisor of the National Security Network and Lawrence Korb, senior fellow at CAP. This event will also serve as the release for CAP’s new progressive national security strategy which offers a framework for the Obama administration’s efforts to coordinate and unify US diplomatic, development and military strategies.
