Eric M. Johnson leads technical strategy and solutions advancement for RTI’s International Development Group. In this role, he works across IDG’s technical practices to identify new technical frontiers for RTI services and directs research and development efforts. Dr. Johnson is an accomplished development professional with 20 years of experience bridging the worlds of academia, policy, and practice. He previously worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) where he led USAID investments in higher education and workforce development, while acting as Deputy Director of USAID’s Office of Education.
