Madeleine Granda supports the Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network's work on policy and government affairs, advancing reforms to strengthen U.S. foreign assistance. She brings a background of congressional service, policy analysis, and international development experience to her work at MFAN. She previously served as a Professional Staff Member on the U.S. Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on the State Department, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs, where she oversaw U.S. foreign assistance accounts and programs, and as a staffer in former Senator Patrick Leahy's office.
Her development experience includes work with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), The Asia Foundation in Cambodia, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). Madeleine recently completed a Master of Public Affairs with an International Development Concentration from the Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Dickinson College.
