Date: Tuesday, July 15th, 2025
Time: 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM EDT
Location: Capitol Visitor Center (Congressional Meeting Room South - CVC 217)
The event will feature the release of bipartisan consensus principles to guide the future of U.S. foreign assistance.
These draft principles will highlight broad areas of agreement across the political spectrum for ensuring that U.S. foreign assistance can remain effective, accountable, and transparent – while delivering on the Administration’s stated goals of making America stronger, safer, and more prosperous.
These principles have been developed based on recommendations issued by MFAN, the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC), former senior officials from both Republican and Democratic administrations, and scholars at institutions including the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), Center for Global Development (CGD), and Brookings Institution.
Refreshments will be provided. For questions, email karen.swatson@modernizeaid.net
Updated details about the event will be posted soon.
