July 7, 2026 (WASHINGTON) – In a period of significant change and uncertainty for U.S. international  assistance, the Modernizing Foreign Assistance Network (MFAN) today announced the addition of three new members to its bipartisan coalition: Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria; Malaria No More; and the ONE Campaign.

These additions continue a period of significant growth for MFAN's membership and are a testament to the value and impact of MFAN’s work. All three organizations are widely respected across the political spectrum and will deepen MFAN’s bench of policy and advocacy experts on a range of critical development and humanitarian issues, including global health.

"ONE, Friends of the Global Fight, and Malaria No More bring deep expertise and strong bipartisan relationships to MFAN, particularly on global health and the broader role of effective assistance in saving lives and advancing American interests," said Tod Preston, MFAN Executive Director. "As our coalition continues to grow, our members' experience and insights will help keep effectiveness and accountability at the center of efforts to modernize U.S. international assistance."

Friends of the Global Fight advocates for strong, sustained U.S. support for the Global Fund and the programs working to end AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

"During this time of unprecedented change in U.S. foreign aid and global health assistance, Friends looks forward to working with the MFAN network to ensure continued U.S. leadership in the most effective, results-driven programs that are saving millions of lives around the world."
Chris Collins, President & CEO, Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

Malaria No More envisions a world where no one dies from a mosquito bite. Through mobilizing political commitment, funding, and innovation, their work has helped drive historic progress toward achieving one of the greatest humanitarian accomplishments of our time — ending malaria for good.

"Malaria No More is proud to join MFAN at a pivotal moment. For nearly two decades, Malaria No More has worked alongside governments, communities, and partners to drive measurable progress against one of the world's deadliest diseases. We share MFAN's commitment to ensuring U.S. international assistance is effective, accountable, and results-driven, and we look forward to collaborating with fellow members to advance innovative approaches that save lives and deliver greater impact for the American people and communities around the world."
William (Bill) Steiger, Chief Executive Officer, Malaria No More

ONE is a global, nonpartisan organization advocating for the investments needed to create economic opportunities and healthier lives in Africa. ONE’s trusted advocacy combines hard-hitting data, grassroots activism and political engagement to influence decision-makers and drive lasting change.

"ONE is pleased to be joining MFAN at such a critical juncture for the future of foreign assistance. We look forward to working with MFAN and members of the network to push forward smart reforms that will make U.S. foreign assistance more impactful and effective, particularly in ONE's focus areas of global health and economic opportunities for millions across the African continent." – Mark Green, Chief Executive Officer, ONE Campaign

As Washington navigates the evolving landscape of U.S. international assistance, MFAN will continue to be a leading, bipartisan voice for investments that are smart, accountable, and deliver meaningful results for partner countries and for U.S. taxpayers.
